Japanese Spiderman

With Tobey McGuire and Sam Raimi out, we thought it was kind of crazy to reboot the Spiderman franchise. No name actor Andrew Garfield has been recast in the roll of Peter Parker, and we've heard that Mary Jane Watson won't even be featured in the new movies. Rather Petey's other love interest Gwen Stacey will be Spidey's muse. Spiderman the Musical written by Bono and Edge gave further credence that Spiderman may have jumped the proverbial shark. Leave it to a Japanese director to show us that with great power, comes great irresponsibility.
