There's no question that the Buffalo Bills are in a bit of a slump. Their offense is struggling to move the ball and score, and the defense can't stop teams from doing both of those things. They've dropped their last two, and it really appears that they're looking to find some answers.
When that's the case in your life, who do you go to? If you're Josh Allen, it's your grandma.
Josh wants his team to get back to having fun
In his press conference on Wednesday afternoon, he was asked how much of the responsibility he takes on making sure that the team stays loose. He acknowledged that often the quarterback position was an influential one on a team. He said that the ways that he leads his team include working extremely hard, doing his job, and leading from the front. but also having energy and juice. He mentioned that he couldn't just put his head in the sand. But then he mentioned that his grandma gave him some good advice to help with it.
Josh's grandma just wants to see him smile
Allen said that his grandma called him, and one thing stood out from the call. He said she just wanted to see him smile. He smiled just at the mention of the call, and you could tell that it meant a lot to him.
Most Bills fans want to see that from him. It definitely does feel like when he's having fun and he's loose on the field, amazing things happen for the Buffalo Bills. So now, we all hope that the Bills have taken this time from the bye to make the offense run a little smoother. Maybe Sunday at 1:00 pm, when the Bills take on the Panthers, we'll all get to smile along with him.
