Josh Allen Sets Another NFL Record During Bengals Game

As the Bills and Bengals battled in a cold and snowy Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, the starting quarterback for the Bills was busy doing something he's gotten quite good at in the seven years he's been in the league: setting records.

As the Bills took down the Bengals in an epic game, Josh Allen played one of his best games of this season, going 22/28 passing, gaining 251 yards with three touchdowns, along with carrying the ball 9 times for 78 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown.

His performance in NFL Week Fourteen is not only one of the best of his season, but it also gave Josh another NFL record.

According to current NFL stats, Josh Allen is the first quarterback to ever pass for 20 or more touchdowns and run for 10 or more touchdowns in three separate seasons.

As of this season, Allen has completed 69% of his passes for more than 2,800 yards and 19 passing touchdowns, along with 78 rushing attempts, while gaining more than 400 yards on the ground and scoring 11 rushing touchdowns.

Since entering the league in 2018, Allen has amassed several NFL and Buffalo Bills records in his career. In addition this his NFL record, Allen has:

• The most career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback,
• The most total touchdowns by anyone in their first 7 seasons,
• The first QB with 40 or more total touchdowns in 5 consecutive seasons,
• The first QB to score a rushing, passing, and receiving touchdown in a game,
• The most AFC Offensive Player of the Week Awards by a Bills player,
• and numerous more.

It's quite clear that Josh Allen is poised to not only go down as the greatest Buffalo Bills player ever, but the greatest person to ever play in the NFL.
