The Buffalo Bills are the popular pick to win the Super Bowl in February of 2023, which will be held in Arizona.

It makes sense; the Bills have made the playoffs three straight seasons, they had the number one ranked defense in the NFL in 2021, along with arguably the most high-octane offense, and they have one of the two or three best quarterbacks in the league.

That quarterback is Josh Allen.

Allen went from growing pains in his rookie season, to considerable improvement in year two...to being a superstar in 2020 and 2021.

Allen has thrown for over 4,000 yards in the last two seasons and 88 total touchdowns, including rushing and one touchdown receiving.

Josh had what is considered the greatest two-game stretch in NFL playoff history -- completing 48 of 62 passes, for 637 yards and nine touchdowns -- with zero turnovers.

Yet, despite all of those numbers and record to back up his status in league circles, one national sports talk show host is not convinced.

Skip Bayless is one of the most well-known sports show hosts out there. He spent years working in the Dallas media market, along with a radio host, before being a fixture on ESPN. He now works for FOX Sports. He's a show host with Shannon Sharpe on the FS1 show, Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.

When discussing who will make the Super Bowl and an eventual winner, Sharpe picked the Bills to win their first Super Bowl title.

Bayless responded with, "are you sure Josh Allen is that guy?"

Bayless doubled-down when Sharpe asked, "you don't think he's that dude?"

Bayless said, "I don't. I'm not convinced. I don't know about the biggest game intangibles."

Bayless points to the Kansas City defense being terrible, and Allen's lack of performing in big games, but Allen destroyed the New England Patriots in the Wild Card game and they had the second ranked defense in the NFL in 2021. The Chiefs had the eighth ranked defense, as well.

Allen was the reason the Bills beat New England the day after Christmas and wrapped up the AFC East division too. He also was the only reason the Bills beat the Indianapolis Colts in the 2020 AFC Wild Card.

We shouldn't be surprised by the comments, but most people who are not even Bills fans agree, Allen is that guy and he has shown up multiple times on the biggest of stages.
