Josh Allen/Patrick Mahomes Stat Comparison Making Bills Fans Go Crazy [TWEET]
The Buffalo Bills are 4-1 and sitting atop the AFC East standing through five weeks (two-game lead over the New England Patriots).
It's hard to find any hole in the Bills roster and they without a doubt now, have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL: Josh Allen.
Allen and the Bills had a statement win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football this past week, 38-20. It was a complete performance on offense and defense and came against a team that had previously had the Bills' number.
Allen threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.
After the game ended, the stats from both Allen and Patrick Mahomes were shared over their previous 21 games. Believe it or not, even though Mahomes has been the consensus number one quarterback in the NFL, the stats are identical.
It's now evident the Chiefs are not the same team they were in 2019 and 2020. They have worst statistical defense in football and Mahomes struggled to find his top two weapons against the Bills on Sunday (Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce).
The Bills have statistically the best offense and defense in the NFL in 2021 and the best point differential at +108. They also have arguably the easiest remaining schedule in the NFL (Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots 2x, New York Jets 2x, Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints).
The Bills are playing the best football in the NFL right now.
