Residents of the Stony Brook neighborhood in Lancaster came together for the 13th straight year to put off amazing Christmas displays and raise money for a local charity.

This year, Stony Brook Shines was collecting money for WNY Heroes, INC, a non-profit that has several programs that benefit the children of military veterans.

According to WKBW, this year Stony Brook Shines were able to raise $73,420.30 for the non-profit by collecting money from people who drive thru the neighborhood to see all the Christmas displays.

That total almost doubles the amount raised last year.
