A winter storm warning is in effect through Monday night, and we have already broke some historic Buffalo snow records.

The rate at which the snow is falling is remarkable -- about 3-4 inches in the most affected areas.

That includes Grand Island, Niagara County into western Orleans county.

From Buffalo to Lockport, you can expect the most snowfall, with a total of about 18-24 inches by Monday evening.

Not to mention the drifts and high winds that make driving even more difficult on Monday.

The snow started to come down Sunday night around 9 p.m., and since then, Buffalo has already picked up over 10 inches of snow.

Try to avoid driving if you can today, and look out for these 8 things that, without fail, always happen during a Buffalo snow storm.
