Threats Made To Western New York Ice Cream Shop
The local businesses that make up Buffalo and Western New York are a huge part of this community. Buffalonians pride themselves on supporting local restaurants, ice cream shops, bars and breweries. Other than the people and our Bills/Sabres, it's the thing that causes us the most pride.
Many of the local restaurants here do an amazing job at serving Western New York.
Now that we're getting into the summertime weather over the next few weeks, more people will be visiting ice cream places. Places like Anderson's, Kone King, Condrell's and others will be very busy.
Main Street Ice Cream in Hamburg is another that will soon be busy with summer business. Unfortunately, they had to announce the cancellation of future events because of a disturbing occurrence.
According to their Facebook page, Main Street Ice Cream says they had to pull out of upcoming events, due to calls and messages threatening their business.
The well being of their employees and business is the utmost importance.
It says within minutes of announcing they would be at an event, the nasty calls and messages started.
This is extremely sad and disappointing. A local business should never get any kinds of threats made in any fashion.
Hopefully, everything will be fine and this will be the end of this sort of thing. No local business should ever have to put up with threats.
