Rumor Has It That Josh Allen Wants The Buffalo Bills To Get This Player
The NFL offseason is officially here, and so begins the rumor mill. What player is rumored to be of interest to the Bills franchise Quarterback?
The Buffalo Bills fell short of going to their first Super Bowl since 1994 when they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game 32-29. It was a controversial loss as many felt the Bills were the victim of bad, and maybe even biased, officiating. Regardless of how anyone feels about that, the Chiefs won the game, and the Bills continue to search for ways to beat their arch-nemesis.
Many would argue and have good reason to believe that the Bills need help on defense. This was arguably the worst defense we've seen under Sean McDermott, and while it made lots of turnovers and big plays, it consistently failed to stop teams down the stretch. No easy task against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, but it's the reality. However, this rumor has nothing to do with the Bills' defense and everything to do with their offense.
Buffalo Bills Offense in 2024-2025
The Bills were a potent offense this past season. In fact, including the playoffs, they lead the league in points.
That's impressive, especially for a team many thought would take a huge step back after losing Stefon Diggs. The "everybody eats" mentality they adopted worked. They ended up bringing ASmari Cooper in to help free p other receivers. He struggled to be super productive, but it certainly helped. It's unclear if the Bills will bring him back. What they might do, though, is bring in another big-name receiver.
Rumor Has It That Josh Allen Wants The Buffalo Bills To Get This Player
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Josh Allen would like to play with Marquise "Hollywood" Brown.
Brown was brought in at the request of Patrick Mahomes last offseason but dealt with an injury that kept him sidelined for most of the season. He only played in 2 games. He is known for his speed and was a favorite target of Lamar Jackson in 2021, bringing in over 1,000 yards.
However, that was the only season he had broken 1,000 yards. Brown can be a big playmaker who can swing a game but may not be a number 1 option, per se. Still, one thing the Bills are lacking is speed, especially in the receiver's room.
