The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for he return of the Return of Blue & Red scrimmage at Highmark Stadium on Friday. But will they be without a key rookie?

There have been several injuries in camp so far, which take place at St. John Fisher University just outside Rochester, NY. None of them seems to be too serious, though it's always a cause for concern. Dalton Kincaid has soreness in the knee that bothered him last year.  LBs Terrel Bernard and Dorian Williams have been out. However, every injury thus far that the Bills have suffered doesn't seem to be serious.

Then Max Hairston went down.

Maxwell Hairston Injured at Bills Training Camp

Hairston was taken 30th overall in this year's draft by the Bills. He posted the fastest 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine. The Bills coveted his speed and man-to-man coverage skills, but they may be without him. Hairston went down with a right knee injury today.

He did walk off the field with some help. The injury did not happen with contact.

We'll have to wait and see how serious it is. Here's hoping Hairston is OK.

The Bills are off tomorrow and return to camp on Thursday morning at 9:45 am. They come back to Buffalo for the Return of Blue & Red at Highmark Stadium Friday at 5:30 pm.
