Here is an Exclusive Sneak Peek of Metallica’s Buffalo Show
In case you missed it, the mighty Metallica announced that they will be coming to Buffalo. The band who just celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2021 announced last week that they will be taking over Highmark Stadium on August 11th. Want to win your way in? You can CLICK HERE for details.
What makes this show so special? The band is only doing two stadium shows in the United States in 2022, and we are lucky enough to have one of them here in Western New York.
Speaking of lucky, I was in the audience at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas this past Friday and got a sneak peek of what Metallica will be bringing to Buffalo. The same lineup that took the stage in Vegas will be coming to WNY later this summer, and you will want to make sure to get in the gates early. Ice Nine Kills got the show started with one hell of a set, that featured some awesome theatrics that you need to see. Gretta Van Fleet followed and nearly tour the roof off the stadium with soaring guitars, and a feeling that you were seeing Led Zeppelin in their heydey.
And then, it was time for Metallica. The band ripped through a 16 song set that did not disappoint. The set contained pretty much everything you could ask for, from the early days through the radio hits. Some highlights included; Seek & Destroy, Fuel, One, For Whom The Bell Tolls, Fade To Black, Nothing Else Matters, and Enter Sandman.
I don't want to give away too much, but there was no shortage of pyrotechnics. And you're going to want to make sure that you stick around to the very end because let's just say the show ends with a bang.
