This Sunday, an NFL record that has stood for years could end up falling when the Buffalo Bills lineup against the Cleveland Browns, and it is the Bills who could be on the wrong side of history.

NFL Sack Record Could Be Set On Sunday

Browns defensive star, Myles Garrett, has recorded 21.5 sacks so far this season, which is just one shy of the NFL record that his held by JJ Watt and Michael Strahan. Garrett just needs 1.5 sacks to set the single-season record for most sacks in a season.

There is a good chance that the record will be set in Cleveland on Sunday. This season, Josh Allen has already been sacked 33 times, way up from last year when he was only sacked 14 times. This year's 33 sacks are very close to a career high for Allen.

That means Myles Garrett is primed to get a sack or two, which would set the new NFL record. As a member of Bills Mafia, I know it always feels better to be on the winning side of a record, not on the other side, so I am hoping the Bills' o-line can shut out Garrett. Do I think that will happen? No, but I do have my fingers crossed.

The worst part is that Garrett was rumored to be traded to the Bills before the season, but ended up re-signing with the Browns. Imagine what the Bills' defense would look like if Garrett were wearing the charging Buffalo helmet this season.
