New Coffee Spot set to open in Downtown Buffalo
When you're looking to get your caffeine fix, you will soon have a new option in Downtown Buffalo.
The site of a former Tim Hortons location in the Seneca One Tower will soon be transformed into a 'Day of the Dead' themed Coffee House. Undergrounds Coffee and Roastery, whose motto according to their Twitter page is that they serve up coffee to die for & tasty food, will be opening a new location soon.
The company is proudly female-owned & located in the Old First Ward neighborhood of Buffalo. The company was founded in 2015 when it opened its first location on the site of a former Buffalo funeral home.
The South Buffalo-based business will open its second location on the ground level at Seneca One Tower. The Seneca One Tower has seen a flurry of activity since the 1.4 million square foot building began its transformation a couple of years ago, adding over 100 apartments near the base of the building, as well as a food hall, and lobby bar.
The new Undergrounds Coffee and Roastery location will be a kiosk on the first floor of the tower in a location that used to be a Tim Horton's. They will also be offering catering services.
Undergrounds Coffee and Roastery original location, located at 580 South Park Avenue, offers up all-day breakfast and sandwiches with creative Buffalo names like The Ralph Wilson, The Rick James, and The Tim Russert. They also offer salads, and an impressive list of coffees, espressos, lattes, and cappuccinos.
The full menu, which can be found HERE, will be making its way to the new Seneca Tower location when it opens later this month.
