New High-Speed Internet Option Coming to Cheektowaga
There will soon be more High-Speed internet competition coming to the town of Cheektowaga. Greenlight Networks, announced today that it's bringing its 100% "fiber-to-the-home" network to the Town of Cheektowaga with service starting by the end of the year.
The new High-speed internet service is expected to be available to nearly 10,000 homes by the end of 2022, due to a $1 million dollar investment in the infrastructure of the town's network, which is also creating new jobs and work for contractors along the way.
The company also announced that it is partnering with South Line Fire District No.10 in Cheektowaga to host its network equipment in exchange for complimentary high-speed fiber broadband service. Residents in these areas surrounding the South Line Fire District No. 10 can now place pre-orders for the Greenlight internet service by CLICKING HERE.
Cheektowaga Town Supervisor Diane Benczkowski said;
Currently, Greenlight offers service in the Upper and Lower West Side neighborhoods in the City of Buffalo. There is additional construction underway in the Elmwood Village, Elmwood, and Forest neighborhoods.
Greenlight Networks, founded in 2011 in Rochester, is an ultra-high-speed, broadband service provider, offering residential and small business customers Internet speeds up to 2 Gigabit per second.
