News Reporter’s Bear Attack Piece Is Completely Ridiculous

You might watch this whole video wondering out loud if it is, in fact, real, or if the internet is playing a joke on you. That is how ridiculous this "what to do if you encounter a bear" news segment is.

The segment, which was meant to be helpful, aired on a Providence, Rhode Island, NBC news affiliate, and features a reporter backing slowly into some bushes, screaming and throwing her shoes at the camera. All jokes aside, we now know what to do if we ever encounter a bear, because they are apparently terrified of flip flops. Thanks, NBC!
