Maybe Peter Gabriel needs some new ideas.

Word is that the once creative force behind Genesis and an incredible string of solo works is now producing a re-make of his 80's classic 'Sledgehammer'.

Back in the day when the video came out, we couldn't believe it.

So fun, so new.

That must have stuck with Peter, because he feels with all the new technology, the video can be re-made for 2014 with more sizzle then the original.

Peter won't be re-recording the song, just re-producing the video.
