Bills Mafia: Pinto Ron is Getting His Own Action Figure
Some people collect action figures of athletes, wrestlers, and superheroes. Is this famous member of Bills Mafia any of these? Arguably, yes! After all, the things this guy has put himself through for decades while tailgating before games at least make him a superhero. Now, he's being made into an action figure.
Pinto Ron
Pinto Ron is a legendary Buffalo Bills tailgater. His real name is Ken Johnson. Ken has hosted a tailgate since the 90s, where he cooks food on top of an old Ford Pinto. But that's just the beginning. Ron serves up shots out of bowling balls and takes on the time-honored tradition, which he invented, of getting doused with ketchup and mustard before every home game. Just watch:
It's wild and awesome, especially in person. It's something anyone visiting a Bills game should go see for themselves. He is currently set up in Hammer's Lot. Now, Pinto Ron will be an action figure thanks to another great Bills Mafia Member. In fact, it's the founder of the Bills Mafia himself.
Pinto Ron Gets His Own Action Figure
Del Reid, the founder of Bills Mafia (literally), has a company called 26 Shirts. They produce Buffalo-themed merch that is a favorite of Bills fans. Best of all, each design supports a charitable cause. Their latest project? A Pinto Ron Action Figure:
According to Del, this will be available next month and be part of a Bills Super Fan series, assuming this goes well.
We're not sure how much it costs or what charity it will support yet, but make no mistake, it will be worth it to buy and display proudly.
