Fans are waiting eagerly for the 2025-2026 schedule to come out.  Everyone has theories of what it might look like, but how many of them are true?

Leave it up to the NFL to make an announcement that they'll be announcing the schedule soon.  They've set the date for the full schedule release for May 14th.  There will be a full on three hour schedule release on Wednesday, May 14 at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network, NFL.com, the NFL app and NFL+.

Nothing will be official until it is released on that date.

However, as there always are, there are already rumors flying that there are leaks. People constantly go on social media and claim that they've heard from a reliable source that something is happening and then other people spread that "information" as if it's the truth.  At this point, all we know are the home and away matchups.  So we know who they will play, but we don't know when they will play them.  Everything other than the matchups is just rumors at this point. Here are some of the big ones:

Rumor #1 - The Bills will be playing on Christmas Day

It wouldn't be crazy to think that the Bills might play on Christmas Day.  While they used to just play on Thanksgiving and leave Christmas to the NBA, the NFL has begun playing multiple games on Black Friday and even Christmas Day the past couple of years.  The Bills have become really good for the NFL's ratings so it wouldn't be unheard of to place them on a primetime Christmas Day game.  However, it will be unlikely that they will play on both Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Rumor #2 - The Bills will be playing the first-ever game in Ireland this year

What we know is that there will be a game played in Ireland.  The Pittsburgh Steelers are the designated home team for the game.  So any of the opponents that they have listed as their "away" opponents could be going there to play them.  The Bills are one of the "away" opponents for the Pittsburgh Steelers this season.  This one could be true.

Rumor #3 - The Bills final game of the season will be in San Francisco

I actually love this one, although it's technically not true.  They're saying that the last game of the season for the Bills will be happening at the Super Bowl.  However, the Super Bowl is going to be held at the home stadium of the San Francisco 49ers.  Much like the Buffalo Bills actually play in Orchard Park, the 49ers actually play in Santa Clara, California.

But we'll take it!  I hope this one turns out to be true!
