To say that Buffalo was filled with big energy before the first NHL playoff game in Western New York in 15 years would be an understatement. Sabres Take 1-0 Lead Over Bruins In Stanley Cup Playoffs

The first two-and-a-half periods saw Boston jump out to a 2-goal lead, with the Bruins Morgan Geekie and Elias Lindholm putting goals on the board for Boston in the first and third periods.

That wasn't all from Tage as he had his eyes on another goal, which came at 15:44 after a great assist from Tage Thompson and Alex Tuch.

Mattias Samuelsson and Alex Tuch added goals 3 and 4 as the Sabres did what we knew they could do.

Let's go, Buffalo!
