It’s Fall once again and that means AMAZING BEER!!! If you take yourself for a beer connoisseur and need some great beers to fill that Beer Helmet you could win from us… then this is an awesome time of the year for you, and it will only get better.
Fall is the time of the year for Oktoberfest celebrations, Oktoberfest beer, Pumpkin Ale’s, and so so much more! We know at Jack there are times you need an ice cold beer to put up us not playing what YOU want, but we don’t care, just make sure it’s a classy beer if that’s the way it’s going to be!… If you don’t know any good beers then you will jump for joy to hear that Fall Sampler Pack are among some of the best sampler packs beer companies can provide us with. Here at Jack we care about what you put past those lips, so we thought we’d give you a list of a few of our favorite Fall selections below along with a list of other brands that carry Fall variety packs!
Beers Of Fall… Sample them
Samuel Adams Harvest Pack-
Yes it’s true loyal Jack listeners, this amazing 12 pack will give you some of the best flavors of Fall. Including: Sam Adams Oktoberfest, Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin Ale, Irish Red, Bonfire (Rauchbier, a new featured style), Black Lager, and of course their traditional Boston Lager.
Magic Hat -
A beer with something to say, they are the fortune cookie of beers. Which is why you should check out our post on “What’s under the cap?” (a photo gallery of Magic Hat tops and fortunes). Magic Hat has to be my favorite Fall sampler pack this year. Under every Magic Hat cap there is a little sang or fortune, if I may, that gives the reader something to look forward to (aside from the delicious contents within). This variety pack has 3 bottles of 4 different styles which include: Magic Hat #9, Hex (their Oktoberfest), H.I.P.A. (their IPA), and Humble Patience (an Irish Style Red). There is not one beer in this pack that is bad… that is if you like hoppier beers, ya know beers with a bite!
Now I know those last two variety packs fell more towards the bitter end of the beer scale, so I thought I’d throw one in there for the Pale Ale, Belgian Wheat lovers.
Shock Top -
I have to say I’m a little bias against this beer because I am not particularly in love with Wheat anything beers, so I brought in the expert taste buds of a friend who only drinks Pale Ale, and Wheat style beers.
Shock Tops Fall sampler pack has a great combinations of lighter, fruitier flavors. It includes 4 bottles of 3 different styles of Wheat beers. My favorite of the three would have to be their Pumpkin Wheat (it gets me in the mood for Thanksgiving and cold nights by a fire… sorry day dreaming.). Along with the Pumpkin Wheat, the variety pack also includes a Raspberry Wheat and their most well known Wheat, Belgin Wheat. For those of you who favor beers such as EBC Blueberry Wheat and Blue Moon with an orange (or any Blue Moon for that matter) you will love the Raspberry Wheat!
