AS the Buffalo Bills continue their search for a new head coach, their former coach could end up landing just a couple of hours away with a different AFC team.

Amidst several coaches backing out of interviews, the latest head coaching rumor has former Bills head man Sean McDermott not being unemployed long.

Sean McDermott Headed To Cleveland Browns?

The latest rumor is that the Cleveland Browns are set to make Sean McDermott their new head coach. McDermott was linked to the Browns and even interviewed with the team back in 2016 before the Browns hired Hue Jackson.

Just a couple of weeks later, McDermott would sign with the Bills.

The owner is the same as it was back in 2016, but there is a new GM. Andrew Berry has been in Cleveland since 2020. The Browns fired Kevin Stefanski this offseason after six years. McDermott is one of the winningest coaches in the NFL over the past 9 seasons. He won the AFC East division 5 straught years and made the playoffs the past seven seasons.

He is known as a culture builder, and that is somethingthat is needed in Cleveland.
