Dominant Buffalo Football Player Makes the NFL
This player earned many awards while dominating on the field. Now he'll get the chance to dominate in the NFL.
The University at Buffalo has produced several successful NFL players. The biggest name of them all being Khalil Mack who was selected 5th overall in the 2014 NFL draft. Mack has been a dominating pass rusher in the league ever since. Now, another player from the UB Bulls defense looks to dominate the NFL.
Linebacker Shaun Dolac went surprisingly undrafted this season. He was a consensus All American and was the first player in UB history to be named a 1st team all American. He led the nation on tackles last year. He was especially great in coverage with 5 interceptions last season. That's a coveted skill on the NFL where stopping the pass from the linebacker position is a premium.
Despite going undrafted, he signed with the LA Rams. He officially made the team today.
To anyone with even basic knowledge of Dolac, this comes as no surprise. While he wasn't drafted, many expect big things from him. He wouldn't be the first, nor the last, undrafted player to become an All Pro, and Dolac has that potential.
We’ll have to wait and see how he does, but Buffalo fans will be rooting for him. That is, of course, unless he's playing the Buffalo Bills.
