The Buffalo Bills traded wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans this offseason. It was a controversial move at the time, as the Bills didn't have a true number 1 receiver beyond Diggs, and trading him left a massive dead cap hit that many thought would hamstring the Bills' ability to compete this year.

Diggs got "revenge" on the Bills when the Texans beat them earlier this season. While he didn't have a big stat line, he contributed. Now, it looks like he might not be contributing any longer this season.

Diggs suffered a non-contact injury in the Texans 23-20 win over the Colts yesterday. Judging by the looks of it (according to the doctor below), he may have hurt his ACL and could be done for the season. There is no official word as to whether he has hurt his ACL or not as of yet.

The team did an MRI of his knee today. Further updates are expected very soon.

Diggs was having a decent season. He had 47 catches for 496 yards and 3 touchdowns. That pace is good but would have been his lowest since 2017 when he was with the Vikings.

Diggs wore out his welcome in Buffalo after he allegedly had a falling out with Josh Allen. It's not clear exactly what caused the issue. Both have denied having problems with each other. There must have been a problem, though, for the Bills to make such a drastic trade.

The Bills got their number 1 receiver recently when they traded for Amari Cooper. Kahlil Shakir and Keon Coleman are also becoming rising stars. The Bills also have developed a strong run game with James Cook and Ray Davis, making them a difficult opponent.

Both the Texans and Bills are 6-2 on the year.

Diggs is a free agent after this season.

The Bills are coming off a 31-10 win over Seattle yesterday.
