Jimi Jamison, the singer for Survivor during their peak mid-'80s run, has died.

Arguably the band's biggest hit in a career with no shortage of them, Survivor's 'Eye of the Tiger' is a song every classic rock fan knows pretty much by heart. Still, we feel pretty confident saying you've never heard it like this.

In 2012, the members of Toto filed a lawsuit against Sony Music alleging unpaid digital royalties, and now they've got company: Survivor co-founders Frankie Sullivan and Jim Peterik are also taking the label conglomerate to court.
