It was a game that Bills fans needed to see on Sunday; after the disappointing home opener loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week.

The Buffalo Bills defeated the Miami Dolphins 35-0 yesterday, and the biggest takeaway from the game was the outstanding performance put forward by the Bills defense; especially against the Dolphins offensive line.

The Bills' defense forced three turnovers and got to the Miami quarterbacks (Tua Tagovailoa and Jacoby Brissett) six times on Sunday.

The player that caused the most havoc for the Dolphins' protection was second-year edge rusher, A.J. Epenesa.

Epenesa was a man possessed on Sunday. He didn't play every down -- only a rotational role, but he still managed to get eight pressures on Sunday and was the driving reason a few of the Bills' sacks happened.

Epenesa was only used rotationally, which makes the number of pressures and amount of havoc he caused even more impressive.

My favorite part of the video above is he didn't use the same move. Sure, most pass rushers have a pattened move, but Epenesa used both speed and power moves to cause pressure against Dolphins lineman yesterday. That's the sign of a great pass rusher.

Epenesa had a great training camp and preseason as well. He spent the offseason in Buffalo, which is rare for any player, and he had the benefit of offseason workouts this year, which he couldn't do as a rookie with the pandemic.

The Bills next play The Washington Football Team next Sunday at Highmark Stadium and go up against quarterback Taylor Heinicke. It won't get easier for the Bills offense, as Washington has one of the toughest defensive lines in football.
