The Resurgence of Buffalo

Buffalo on Tap is happening this Saturday, July 24th at the Erie County Fairgrounds Events Center and it is by far New York States' largest craft beer and cider fest. All the great adult beverages under one roof and for the price you cannot beat the deal. Two Sessions to pick from: Noon - 3:00 pm OR 4:30 - 7:30 pm. All tickets include a Souvenir Glass, Craft Beer Tastings, Live Music & more.

One local brewery that will be on hand will be Resurgence Brewing Company. Now I am a fan of their beer and I loved their location when it was on Niagara Street. However, since they relocated to Chicago Street, near the waterfront, I have not been able to get to it until a few days ago, and as I walked up I was blown away at the massiveness of the operation. Not only the production room, but the facility itself is amazing.

As you walk in, the first floor has the brewery to your right along with the bar. The left has an awesome beer garden and it is attached to two other places. One is a distillery, the other a rock climbing wall company (be advised you cannot climb if you have been tipping back a few beers).

The second floor is a beautiful, elegant room where a woman was setting up her wedding shower. There was also a conference room in case you want to conduct business with beers.

The food was great, the staff rocked and the beer, well let's just say it did what it was made to do.
