It was announced this past weekend that the Hollywood movie Nightmare Alley would start filming parts of the movie in Buffalo this week.

The movie is directed by Guillermo Del Toro and stars Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, and Rooney Mara.

The movie is supposed to start filming on Tuesday, February 25th and according to WGRZ, trucks are at a staging location in South Buffalo.

Karpeles Museum in Buffalo is another location that has many production trucks setting up and hauling equipment inside.

City Hall will be featured, and the pedestrian signal has been removed outside of Niagara Square, according to WGRZ.

The old architecture of Buffalo will play a key role in the movie, which is said to have a 1940's setting.
