These Players Could All Leave The Buffalo Bills
While there have been a ton of moves in the NFL over the last few days, free agency actually starts on Wednesday. A lot could change for the Bills in that time.
A lot of fans think of free agency and start getting excited over which players they could end up on their team. What they often forget about though, are the players that they could be losing. Free agents can choose where they want to go and that's great when they choose to come to your city. But it stinks when they choose to go somewhere else instead.
It doesn't always mean that they love their new city more. However, playing football in the NFL is a business and these players need to do what's best for them and their families.
Brandon Beane has already done a great job at getting some core players signed to the Bills long-term. Some are still going to be under contract for this season like running back James Cook and cornerback Christian Benford. While they would probably like to get their contracts taken care of before training camp, they're still under contract.
But there are some who are going to be free to look around, and Bills fans will probably be upset to see them go. Players like Ty Johnson who made some clutch plays last year and who Josh Allen considers to be the best third-down back in the league. Mack Hollins is another who became a fan favorite early in the year after they found out he doesn't wear shoes unless he absolutely has to. Rasul Douglas is the Bills' starting cornerback opposite Christian Benford. Will they find a way to get a last-minute deal done with him?
