Bills Legend Thurman Thomas Angers Some With Political Tweet

Buffalo Bills' legendary running back Thurman Thomas has upset some people with a repost on X, formerly Twitter.

It's that time of year when influencers, athletes, actors, musicians, and anyone with fame pick sides. Some do it in what would be considered a classy way. Others, not so much. Many never reveal whhttps://wbuf.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=gallery-allallo they will vote for. Of course, it's everyone's right to say or not say who they support.

In this case, Legendary Buffalo Bills Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas made it very clear who he is voting for on election day.

Thomas spent 12 of his 13-year NFL career with the Buffalo Bills, who drafted him in 1988. He was the NFL MVP in 1991. He holds the all-time Bills rushing record and team record for yards from scrimmage. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007. His number 34 is displayed in Bufflao's ring of honor and is a retired number that no one else can wear for the Buffalo Bills.

Thomas was an extremely popular figure in Buffalo, even a hero, to many kids and adults through the 1990s. He remains very active in the Western New York community and owns a home in Allentown, a part of the City of Buffalo. His hero status in WNY will no doubt be elevated to some but erased completely for others after this post.

Thomas is getting hate and praise for reporting this on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday, November 3.

Most of the hate is based on his clear political stance. Some are also based on whether or not this is an appropriate thing to post at all. He is also getting plenty of people sticking up for him and praising his decision.
