One of the big things that is sure to bring a big crowd out to the KeyBank Center this season is the induction of two Sabres greats into the team's Hall of Fame.
Jason Pominville and Thomas Vanek To Be Inducted Into Buffalo Sabres Hall of Fame
The night of Thursday, January 14, 2027, is to be filled with high energy as two big-time Sabres players are getting an honor that very few players have ever received.
Jason Pominville and Thomas Vanek, both of whom have storied careers on the ice with the Sabres, are being honored and inducted into the team's Hall of Fame before the game when the team takes on the Colorado Avalanche. Pomminville and Vanek will be only the 45th and 46th players to enter the Sabres Hall of Fame in the team's 57-year history.
The day will include all sorts of great events, including a big pregame ceremony with the induction, along with appearances of other Sabres alumni, and all fans in attendance at the KeyBank Center will get a special pennant to commemorate the night.
Hopes are high for the Sabres, and there's room for everyone in the Sabrehood this year.
