WATCH: Final “Quiet Place 2″ Trailer Features Scenes From WNY
John Krasinski stars in A Quiet Place 2 which was partially filmed in the Buffalo area and will hit theaters May 28th.
Western New York and Buffalo have become the hub for movies lately. While there are rumors about Paramount Pictures coming to town for a major film, there is a new trailer out for a movie that has lots of production time in our area.
Over the last few years, Buffalo has been the in the spotlight for directors and film makers who not only appreciate the architecture, but the way they are welcomed to the area. It was just a few years ago that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles used parts of The Kensington Expressway (Route 33) for a few scenes. And this week, there was word that Will Smith was possibly coming to town to film.
With our seat along two great lakes and proximity to Canada and Niagara Falls, this is a great backdrop for filming movies.
There is great news for those who love movies as Regal Cinemas is set to open this weekend and other theaters will be accommodating for more people to watch new movies.
