A Western New York student from Erie County, Elanor W., was announced as a fourth-round winner in New York State's 'Vaccinate, Educate, Graduate' vaccine incentive program, which provides 5 to11-year-olds the chance to win a full SUNY or CUNY college scholarship.

10 winners per round/week will be chosen between November 24th and December 19th. The scholarships include Tuition: The full cost of in-state tuition, and Non-tuition Costs: Room and board, and allowances for books, supplies, and transportation up to the average cost at any State University of New York or City University of New York school.   To see the full drawing schedule CLICK HERE

Governor Hochul said;

I am thrilled to announce the next ten young New Yorkers who will be able to receive life-changing education opportunities at any SUNY or CUNY college or university through the 'Vaccinate, Educate, Graduate' program

If you are a parent or guardian of an eligible child, you can enter on their behalf here.  You can also enter by phone, by calling  1-833-697-4829.  New York State will administer the random drawing each week, and winners will be verified by the New York State Department of Health and New York State Higher Education Services Corporation.

This is the second winner in the initiative to come from Erie County, and the fourth from Western New York (Two previous winners from Monroe County were announced).
