WNY Will Be Digging Out Their Cars On Tuesday Morning
I know, you've probably heard a lot about this storm that's on its way to Western New York, but there are some details for the impending snow that will help you for Tuesday.
There's a Winter Storm Warning in effect for ALL of Western New York from 7 a.m. Monday to 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Although snow will be around for Monday during the day, it's Monday evening that the snow starts for Western New York and gets heavier by the overnight and into Tuesday morning. The heaviest snow will be gone by Tuesday around the morning commute but snow will stay until the late morning.
All in all, most of the region can expect a foot of snow (give or take an inch or two), and much of it will fall before the morning commute, which means we will all be digging our cars out before going to work on Tuesday.
That means it's probably best to leave yourself extra time in order to get your car out of the snow in time.
It's a good thing most people will be at home and asleep when the heaviest of the snow falls, however, that means a lot of work when you wake up to dig the car out.
But wait, there's more!
Thursday and Friday will produce another snow system, so don't put your snow brush and shovel away.
