All Day Snow on Tuesday, Especially for Buffalo and North Towns

The Bills season finally ended on Sunday night and now, we get snow (and ice for some areas).

It's going to be a snowy commute on Tuesday, pretty much all day and into Tuesday evening for most of Western New York. According to WIVB, a Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for all of Western New York from early Tuesday morning until late Tuesday night.

Luckily, this is not lake effect snow, but rather the general snowfall variety. Snow should start around the morning commute in Western New York and last all day. The biggest accumulations should be Buffalo and areas north and northeast of the city. 2-4 inches will fall in Buffalo and areas northward, which northeast near Batavia could see 3-6 inches of snow.

The southern tier will only see 1-2 inches but the greater threat there is freezing rain and ice, which will be evident early Tuesday morning, so make sure you leave plenty of time when driving and obviously, be extra careful.

All in all, this winter storm isn't anything we can't handle, but it will be a nuisance since it'll last the entire day. I'm certainly ready for winter to be over already. Can we fast forward to April?
