It's the first time the Bills have beat the Patriots at home since 2011 when they were led by the likes of quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and wide receiver Stevie Johnson.

Leading the way on offense was the Bills running game. Buffalo ran for 190 total yards and rookie Zack Moss ran for two touchdowns.

Neither Josh Allen nor Patriots quarterback Cam Newton was able to throw for 200 yards in that stiff wind.

The play of the game was without a doubt made by defensive tackle Justin Zimmer, who stripped Patriots quarterback Cam Newton of the ball with less than  40 seconds remaining as New England was driving inside the Bills red zone.

It sure looked like the Patriots were going to score and win the game but I think I speak for all of Bills Mafia when I say it was a moment of euphoria when Newton fumbled.

The Bills now move to 6-2 and have a three and a half-game lead over the Patriots in the AFC East. The Miami Dolphins are the second team in the division with a 4-3 record, after defeating the Los Angeles Rams today.

Next week the Bills host the NFC juggernaut Seattle Seahawks, who have one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL.
