Bills HC Sean McDermott Pokes Fun at Brandon Beane [TWEET]
The Buffalo Bills are 5-2 this season and now preparing for their week 9 matchup at the Jacksonville Jaguars. Unfortunately, the Bills are dealing with a few injuries.
Today at practice, head coach Sean McDermott said that guard Jon Feliciano would not practice and is still listed as "week-to-week."
Feliciano has a calf injury and while he has not been placed on the injured reserve list, McDermott says that they have not ruled out that option for Feliciano.
Rookie tackle Spencer Brown is still dealing with an injury and would either be limited today or not practicing at all. Tight end Dawson Knox would not practice either with a hand injury.
McDermott did take some time to have a little fun at General Manager Brandon Beane's expense.
The Bills head coach was asked before practice today about the team's lack of moves at the trade deadline yesterday, and McDermott said that he actually knocked on Beane's door to make sure he wasn't sleeping.

According to Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports, the Bills were very close to trading backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky to the Washington Football Team. In fact, Trapasso was told it was just about done, but it never became reality.
It would have been nice to see the Bills bolster the depth at offensive line, especially inside at guard. The run blocking hasn't been there this season and the help would have been welcomed. Adding another depth wide receiver or pass rusher also would have been moves that could have helped the Bills roster.
Many still think Buffalo has the most complete team in the NFL right now.
