Bills Receiver Cole Beasley Reads Statement On His Vaccine Stance: “I’m Pro-Choice”
The Buffalo Bills just wrapped up their first practice of 2021 training camp and by all accounts, it was a very good first day on the field at One Bills Drive.
After practice ended, a few players talked with the media, including wide receiver Cole Beasley.
Beasley started off his press conference by reading a prepared statement regarding the COVID-19 vaccine and where he stands with it and what goes into choosing to get vaccinated.
Beasley emphasized that he is not "anti-vaccine" or "pro-vaccine," but rather, "pro-choice."
Beasley and edge rusher/linebacker Jerry Hughes had a Twitter exchange last week about the vaccine and when asked about that, Beasley said he had a phone conversation with Hughes after. Beasley said he would "run through a wall for him (Hughes)."
Beasley has made headlines over the last two months over Tweets regarding the vaccine and the rules and parameters put in place by the NFL and NFLPA.
As far as on the field goes, new addition Emmanuel Sanders wore jersey #1 and was able to show why the Bills signed him to replace John Brown, who was released earlier this year.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that both running back Zack Moss and offensive lineman Cody Ford are practicing after recovering from injuries last season, but as of now, they won't be a "full go."
The Bills will be back at it for practice tomorrow at 10 am. The first open practice of training camp will be this Saturday.
