These Boots Were NOT Made For Walking
Normally, you’d want boots that are made for walking, and although you can’t walk in this one, this boot is incredible nonetheless.
This boot is unlike any others, and you may have spotted it rolling around Western New York this week. And when I say rolling around -- I do, in fact, mean rolling around.
L.L. Bean’s “Bootmobile” is in Buffalo, and you can find it parked on the University at Buffalo north campus on Wednesday.
Four representatives from L.L. Bean, a company based in Freeport, Maine, have spent the last few weeks traveling around the Northeast and visiting college campuses in those areas, including the University at Buffalo.
The Bootmobile isn’t the only feature on these college visits. There is also a pop-up “Adventure Together” shop, featuring outerwear and those famous “Bean Boots” that resurrected the Freeport company.
The Bootmobile is a fourteen-foot tall fiberglass duck boot, and it is driven by perhaps the most qualified person for the behind the wheel position. Molly Swindall specializes in driving unique vehicles, including her experience driving the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
The Bootmobile is a size 708 boot, and if you want to see it in person, along with their pop-up shop, Wednesday is your last opportunity to do so. The L.L. Bean Bootmobile and their four team members will be outside the UB North Campus Student Union from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
If you do stop by the Bootmobile, you will have a chance to win an L.L. Bean $300 gift card and receive a boot keychain.
More information on the Bootmobile can be found here.
