The NFL regular season is over, and as a result, voting on all the major end-of-the-season awards has concluded.

The NFL hands out their end-of-the-season awards for things like Most Valuable Player, Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, Coach of the Year, and several others. These awards are voted upon by the Associated Press and are considered the official NFL awards despite there being several other outlets and versions of them.

The Buffalo Bills had a very good year. They finished with a 13-4 record and surprised many national football analysts as they brought home their fifth straight AFC East Title. Many thought the Bills would have a down year after losing several players in the offseason, including wide receiver Stephon Diggs, who was a favorite target of quarterback Josh Allen. Pundits were very high on the New York Jets and Aaron Rodgers going into the season, as well as the Miami Dolphins. Neither posed a threat, and the Bills won their division easily while becoming a bonafide Super Bowl contender. They play in the AFC Championship against the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday.

A team with this kind of success is bound to have a lot of awards coming their way, and today, we found out three members of the Bills are finalists for the NFL Awards.

The first should come as no surprise: Josh Allen is a finalist for the NFL MVP award.

Allen didn't have his best statistical year, per se. What he did have was the fewest turnovers of his career while guiding one of the top offenses in the league despite many feeling like he never had a true top target at wide receiver. Many believe Allen did a lot more with much less than other plays.

Next up is a player who literally came back to life to end up starting for the Bills on defense. Safety Damar Hamlin is a finalist for Comeback Player of the Year

Hamlin, of course, had a cardiac event happen to him a couple of seasons ago where he essentially died on the field. Hamlin returned last season and was up for this award, but it went to Joe Flacco. Many felt he didn't win because he lacked significant playing time. This year, however, Hamlin didn't just play: he started at Safety. Hamlin has remained the starter all year and made some big plays along the way.

Finally, we have a coach receiving a nomination, but maybe not the one many expected. Bills offensive Coordinator Joe Brady is a finalist for Assistant Coach of the Year.

It's not surprising that he is up fo the award. Brady ut together a totally revamped Bills offense that uses more running and scheming to score points and control play. Where the Bills offense was like a sports car under former coordinator Brian Daboll, Brady's offense i like a truck that plows through the storm and is always reliable. Brady is a top-head coaching candidate, so we'll have to wait and see if he sticks around beyond this season.

Left out was head coach Sean McDermott. That surprised many, as he is the one who guided a team no one gave much of a chance to where they are now.

The NFL Awards will be given out at the 14th Annual NFL Honors show on Thursday, February 6.
