Why This Buffalo Bills Fan Ran Away After Catching a Ball From Josh Allen
It made some viral noise when a Bills fan in the stands caught a ball that Josh Allen threw away. He immediately turned and ran away. It was bizzare, and een caught annoince Mike Tirico's atrtention.
It was a funny moment. Bizarre, too, because everyone wondered why he ran away. Was he not supposed to be in that seat? Did he not want to be on camera? What's the deal?
Turns out, he wanted to help a friend.
The man's name is Brian Kemp. He was at the game with his wife, Tara Halliwell-Kemp. He did, in fact, have tickets, which he got via a friend who is a season ticket holder. It's not that he didn't want to be on camera, either. It turns out, as he told Channel 4 News, that he wanted to try and help his friend. Check out the video.
That's right, he just wanted to give his friend, Tim, a game ball. It's an NFL policy that game balls must be returned to ensure they have enough balls for the game, and so that fans don't fight over them. Also, according to the video below, there's a microchip in the football that is proprietary. The league doesn't want those being sold and exchanged. Apparently, they can even sue you for taking a football, allegedly. Just a heads up, there's some adult language in the video below.
