The Bills have been making a lot of moves to sign their own guys and today they finally added a player from another team.

Welcome Josh Palmer to The Buffalo Bills.  The wide receiver comes to the Bills from the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Bills have been criticized for not having a guy who can get separation from defenders, and now they have one.  Palmer was 10th out of 160 qualifying receivers in route win rate last year.

There is plenty of highlight film on him too.  He's got a ton of catches where he's just blown past the defender.  With Josh Allen throwing the ball, that could be a dangerous combo for teams to defend.

The deal is a 3-year $36 million contract with $18 million guaranteed.

His best career year was in 2022 when he was able to tally 800 yards on 58 catches.  Since then he's only seen a little less than 600 in 2023 and 2024.  He's a bigger guy at around 6'1" and 210 lbs and many online are saying that he could be the perfect fit for the Bills.  He seems to be a good teammate who works hard and will do well in the "Everybody Eats" offense that Joe Brady runs.  It also doesn't hurt that he's originally from Toronto.

We will see if the Bills have more up their sleeve as free agency continues later this week.  Some think that the reason the Bills cut Von Miller now instead of waiting until June 1st (when they could have spread the dead cap out and saved some money) is so that they could use it now.  If they would have waited until June 1st, they wouldn't have that money available until after that date.  Keep an eye on your phones.  Brandon Beane seems to make his biggest deals at night.
