The biggest off-the-field story regarding the Buffalo Bills over the last calendar year has been the brand new stadium that will soon be built in Orchard Park, right across from the current facility, Highmark Stadium.

You probably know by now that the state and county have agreed upon terms of the new stadium deal. It's a $1.4 billion stadium which will be open-air and seat 62,000 fans.

We have not yet got exact renderings of the new Bills stadium, but on Friday afternoon, the renderings of the stadium site plans were made public.

WIVB reports that Erie County is set to transfer 242 acres of land to New York State, under the agreement made on the new stadium with the Bills franchise.

Some of those acres cuts into the campus for Erie Community College, but none containing buildings. Some additional acres of land could be impacted by construction over the next several years, but it's expected once construction is over that land needed will be given back to ECC.

What will the new stadium site look like?

Jeff Russo of WKBW shared different views/angles of the stadium site plan designs, but it should be noted these designs are for the actual site -- these are not the official renderings for the actual stadium design.

The new stadium will go literally across the street from Highmark Stadium's location, which will be torn down for additional parking.

There will be many parking lots in the new construction site and new roadways to the stadium/lots off Big Tree.

Another angle shows a large plaza that leads into the new stadium.

There will also be a new auxiliary building to be built just south of the stadium at the new site.

Again, these are site designs but not the actual renderings of the stadium. Hopefully, we get those in the near future. These site designs could also change by the time we get to construction.

The expectation is for construction to begin towards the end of next year and to be ready by the summer/fall of 2026.
