Buffalo Bills Receive an F- Grade From Own Players
Team report cards are out across the NFL, and the Bills got the worst possible grade for a specific issue.
Every year, the NFLPA (NFL Player's Association) surveys players on all 32 teams on various subjects and releases their findings in the NFL Player Report Cards. These rank teams on everything from the owner and head coach to the team's facilities and the food they offer. It's always interesting to see how each team does.
Overall, the Buffalo Bills weren't great, but not awful, either. They ranked 23rd overall in the league. They had solid rankings in Treatment of Families (9th, a B+) and their weight room (7th, an A). Ownership, i.e. Terry Pegula, came in 17th (B), so middle of the pack. Their locker room also came in on the 16th (B).
Not ranked highly but receiving no less than a B- grade were strength coaches, which came in at 23rd (B+); their training room (B-), which was 20th; Food and dining were 20th (B-).
Things that received bad rankings are a bit eye-opening. For example, head coach Sean McDermott came in at 27th. Now, the grade he received was a B. The training staff was not great, with a ranking of 27th and a C grade, the second lowest letter grade on the team. These things are both debatable for how "bad" they are with grades that aren't failing by any means.
However, one thing the Bills clearly are failing in stands out.
Buffalo Bills Receive an F- Grade From Own Players For This
The Buffalo Bills ranked dead last in the NFL, with a complete failing grade of F- with Team Travel.
- 35% of the Bills players feel they have a comfortable amount of personal space on team flights, ranking them 32 out of 32.
- Players believe their team travel schedule is inefficient, a rank of 32 of 32 teams.
Last year, the Bills had a D grade in travel, which ranked 25th. They also ranked 11th overall in the league. Clearly, there are areas of concern for the team to address this offseason.
Then again, this doesn't necessarily mean a team is good or bad. After all, this BIlls team has had more success than last year's despite having a drop-off in several areas.
Let's also not forget that the Bills will move to a new home in 2026 with the building of the new Highmark Stadium, which will likely change many rankings for good.
Here's a breakdown of their rankings this year.
