The Buffalo Bills did what they normally don't do to win games on Sunday, and that's running the ball.

Behind the legs of quarterback Josh Allen and running back Devin Singletary, the Bills beat the Atlanta Falcons 29-15 at Highmark Stadium. Singletary rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns, while Allen rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns himself.

Allen didn't have a great day passing the ball and threw three interceptions, but outside of those three picks, the Bills offense played well and the defense stepped up when needed against Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense.

The Bills clinched a playoff spot on Sunday with a win and a Baltimore Ravens loss. The Bills join the Titans, Chiefs, Bengals and Patriots as the five teams who have clinched a playoff berth.

The final two spots have yet to be decided, as the Colts sit in the 6 seed, while the Chargers are in the 7 seed and the Raiders are on the outside in the 8 seed.

The Steelers and Ravens are hanging on by a thread, as they both have extremely slim odds to make the playoffs.

Believe it or not, the Bills could lands anywhere from seeds 2-7. The number one seed is not possible. The Bills most likely seeds are the 3 or 4 seed. They have a 43 percent chance at the 3 seed, and a 38 percent chance at the 4 seed, according to Playoff Status.

The Bills have a 12 percent chance at the 2 seed (would include losses by the Chiefs and Bengals in week 18), and a one percent chance at the 5 or 6 seed. They actually have a five percent chance at the 7 seed, in which case the Bills lose, and there are wins by the Patriots, Colts and Chargers in week 18.

What about likely playoff opponents?

According to Playoff Status, the Bills are highly likely to play one of three teams in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

  • New England Patriots: 33%
  • Indianapolis Colts: 28%
  • Las Vegas Raiders: 27%

The Bills have a seven percent chance to play the Chargers and just a three percent shot at the Chiefs. Statistically, they could play the Steelers as the 2-7 matchup, but the planets would have to align for that to happen.

So Bills fans, it will likely be thee Patriots, Colts or Raiders in round one. Who do you want to play the most?

The Patriots split their meetings with the Bills this season, but Bills fans are likely fine with a third game against them. The Raiders might be the most ideal matchup, since their defense is the least strong of the three and they have lost key players on offense.

The Colts beat the Bills 41-15 back in November, behind running back Jonathan Taylor, and the way they're built (running game, defense), that is probably the least desirable matchup for the Bills and the way they're constructed.

We'll see how things shake out in week 18 next weekend.
