The NFL makes news year-round and it's this time of year when we begin to learn how each team's schedule will shape up.  The NFL has released its slate of preseason games and for the Buffalo Bills it means opening and closing the preseason at home.

The only game with an exact date and time is the Bills meeting with the Detroit Lions in Week 3.  Exact dates and times for their other three games have yet to be determined.

The Bills will open the preseason at New Era Field against the Indianapolis Colts August 8 -12

Then the Bills are on the road for back to back games;

at Carolina Panthers August 15 - 19

and at Detroit Lions on Friday, August 23rd at 8:00 pm on CBS.

They close the preseason schedule at home against the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday, August 29th.

The NFL traditionally releases its regular season schedule in mid April, usually about a week before the NFL Draft.  The Draft is set to begin on Thursday, April 25th, so we could expect to see something sometime next week.
