Buffalo: Fo’ Shizzle! and 21 Other New Buffalo Slogans

The Buffalo Niagara Visitors Bureau  sleek, new slogan touting Buffalo: For Real, is taking some pretty hard lumps already. The promotional video is quite impressive-- from the Wilfred Brimley-like voice guy, to the wide angle lens shots and time-lapsed video-- it looks like Buffalo truly has been reborn. But the new branding slogan has definately not warmed our hearts the way the "Talking Proud" song of the late 70's and early 80's did,  and might be more akin to the promotional failure, the "Whammy Weenie" (C'mon Buffalo, shake those Weenies!!). It's almost too cool for school. Buffalo's twitterverse was chiming in with their own new slogans at #buffslogan.  Which got Jack's creative juices flowing too.
