Buffalo Has Adopted A College Football Team and It’s Nowhere Near WNY

Buffalo, NY is definitely a pro sports town. It's no surprise, given the fact that Buffalo has the Bills and Sabres in the NFL and NHL, respectively.

College sports for the most part, takes a back seat. There are a lot of UB, Niagara, Canisius, Buffalo State fans, but compared to many other cities and regions around the country, it's not a huge college football and basketball town.

However, there is one college football team that has been adopted by Buffalo and Bills Mafia -- and it has all to do with the Bills franchise quarterback.

Josh Allen is now one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and if you follow along, you probably know that Josh went to the University of Wyoming; which just so happened to be the only school that offered him a full scholarship.

I have seen a ton of Wyoming football gear around Buffalo the last year or so. When I went to Nashville this weekend, it was very evident that Bills fans loved Wyoming. I saw at least 20-30 Allen Wyoming jerseys, and a bunch of Wyoming hats and shirts. You can also find them at Highmark Stadium.

A few people said that it's the same in Wyoming -- having Bills gear because of Allen's success in Buffalo.

I don't know about anyone else, but that's is super cool. Wyoming is nowhere near Buffalo, but Bills fans have really latched on to rooting for the Pokes, because of Allen and his success.
