Buffalo Sabres Set To Re-sign Beck Malenstyn
The latest online rumor from the website Sportsnet.ca is that the Buffalo Sabres have agreed to re-sign Beck Malenstyn to a long-term deal. The deal is reportedly going to be a six-year deal worth $18 million dollar.
Malenstyn has been in Buffalo the past two seasons since he joined the team via trade with the Washington Capitals in 2024. As a Buffalo Sabre, Malenstyn has scored 11 goals and had 13 assists for a total of 24 points in two seasons.
He also played in 13 playoff games for the Sabres, scoring one goal and adding two assists. While not official, this deal is expected to be finalized and sent to the league later today.
This is the second long-term deal the Sabres have done in the past week. Last week, they re-signed the wildly popular Zach Benson to a 7-year deal.
