
Buffalo Sabres Re-Sign Recently Aquired Player
The Buffalo Sabres have been busy today as the trade deadline approaches.

The team also traded away struggling forward Dylan Cozens to the Ottawan Senators today in enhance for center Josh Norris and defenseman Jacob Bernard-Docker. To learn more about that, CLICK HERE.
Now, they have re-signed another player who seems to be part of the plan moving forward.
The Sabres have re-signed forward Jason Zucker to a 2-year, $4.75 million average per season contract.
Zucker was brought in on a one-year deal last offseason. He had been with Nashville and, before that, Pittsburgh and Minnesota. He has scored over 20 goals in a season 5 times in his career, dating back to 2011. He only had 5 goals in Nashville last season, but this year for Buffalo, he has put up 18 so far. He has 44 points in 54 games and has been a consistent player and leader.
Zucker is currently working through an injury but is expected back soon.
The NHL trade deadline is today at 3 pm ET.
