We now know when the Buffalo Sabres will play in the 2nd round of the NHL playoffs; we just don't know who they will play.

Buffalo Sabres Round 2 Game Dates Announced

The Buffalo Sabres and the NHL announced the dates for the 2nd round of the NHL playoffs for the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres, who won their first NHL playoff series since 2007, will have home ice advantage in Round 2 since they won the Atlantic Division.

They will play either Montreal or Tampa Bay in round 2 of the NHL playoffs. Those two teams play their Game 7 on Sunday afternoon.

The Sabres will have a couple of extra days' rest before Round 2 starts on Wednesday. Here is a look at Game Dates and times for the Sabres Round 2 series.

Tickets for the series went on sale on Saturday. All the games at KeyBank Center sold out very quickly. Tickets are still available in the secondary market, but you can expect a lot more than face value for those tickets

At the time of this writing, the cheapest tickets that I could find on Ticketmaster.com were around $425 each for tickets in the Upper Level 300s. Some tickets near the ice were going for over $2000 each.

The Sabres will be hosting the Party in the Plaza and viewing party at Canalside ahead of home games as well.
